It received positive reviews, with praise for the performances, musical score, and visuals. A second season is in development.

He Who Remains reveals to Loki and Sylvie that he had founded the TVA in the aftermath of the Multiversal War in order to prevent the rise of his malicious Variants. As the Sacred Timeline begins to form multiple branches, Sylvie– having lost her family to the TVA– rushes to kill He. But Loki, not wanting to risk the prospect of a multiversal crisis, comes to He’s protection. After a brief struggle, Loki and Sylvie’s emotional bond reach an apex and they kiss.
