What’s it about

It’s fascinating to see Sutherland’s transition from a poster boy for unlawful and violent interrogation of Muslim men to The Perfect Liberal President. Even Sutherland’s physical stature has been transformed. In “24” he appeared larger, a worthy hand-to-hand combat opponent that you’d rather not tangle with to Designated Survivor’s small, bespectacled and bookish consensus-builder with questionable legitimacy in office, operating with a heart of gold and Everyone’s Interest In Mind. That’s a sign of good acting and good writing.
