Rose is the daughter of Deathstroke and is taken into the Titans Tower by none other than Dick. At first, she seems like one of her father’s victims but soon, the Titans figure out that she has been working for her dad.
But that doesn’t last long as Rose finally realizes what’s right and sides with the Titans. She proves to be the difference as well, in the fight against Deathstroke and is able to get his brother back from the clutches of a monster.
The new Robin to Batman, Jason is your typical young teenager, who boasts about everything he has been given by Bruce Wayne. On request from Bruce, Dick takes Jason under his guidance and allows him into the Titans Tower.
But all is not smooth sailing for Jason as he takes a back seat, while at the Titans Tower, which he clearly doesn’t like. So, when Gar gets a tip about the whereabouts of Deathstroke, Jason, without informing Dick, goes to chase the killing machine. And he is caught and tortured, which leaves a lasting impact on him. Still, Jason recovers and understands why Dick was so cautious with him.
Hank aka Hawke is one of the veterans in this group of youngsters. He is one of the founding members of the Titans. Hank is a good man, who battled hard in order to get himself out of drugs; a fight in which her ex-girlfriend and partner in crime, Dawn helped.
While he has trained himself to remain calm, there are occasions where he absolutely loses his cool. Hank wants to be Hawke for the rest of his life but his body isn’t getting any better.
Dawn aka Dove is another one of the founding members of the Titans. She is one of the only people in the group who accepts herself for what she is and strives to get better. Always smiling, Dawn rarely loses her head and is a calming figure.
Despite her fondness with being Dove, she knows the limitations of her body. Her relationships have not always worked out but that isn’t something she keeps in her head. All in all, she is a great friend to have.
Gar is a shape-shifting teenager, who is first introduced in the series as one of the many gifted people who reside in the Caulder House. Helped by Dr. Niles Caulder, Gar is able to understand his power and learns how to control it. He rescues Rachel and in time, he becomes her good friend.
In season 2, Gar officially becomes a member of the Titans. But he is used by Cadmus Industries to do their dirty work and even though he wasn’t in control, that might have taken a toll on him.
Donna or Wonder Girl is Dick’s best friend and one of the strongest members of the Titans. She is an independent woman, who doesn’t trust anyone that easily. While season 1 explores her friendship with Dick, season 2 gives the viewers some background story.
Her attachment with Garth aka Aquaboy and how he was killed by Deathstroke. Donna dies at the end of season 2 trying to protect someone but that doesn’t necessarily mean the end for her as Rachel suggested she might be able to revive her.
Rachel aka Raven is the one around whom the story revolves in season 1. She cannot contain the darkness inside her and when she sees her foster mother get murdered, she absolutely loses it. But, fortunately, Dick finds her and becomes like a parent to her.
She eventually learns that her powers come from her demonic father – Trigon, who wants to end the world. But, in the end, the good inside Rachel prevails and now, she has a certain control over her abilities.
Koriand’r / Kory Anders aka Starfire is an extraterrestrial woman, who comes from the planet Tamaran. She is sent to Earth to find and kill the demonic Rachel, but after suffering a car accident, she forgets her mission. And she becomes friends with Rachel.
In the end, she sides with the Titans and helps Rachel destroy Trigon. Little do the Titans know that Starfire’s personal disputes might wreak havoc on Earth in season 3.
Dick is the former Robin, who gives up his coat due to a certain situation in the past with the rest of the Titans. He is a complicated man, who can’t help but think of saving every other powerful misguided teenager.
He has a personal beef with Deathstroke, which is something season 2 focuses upon. Dick, seemingly, hates his childhood but in the end, he moves on, leaves Robin behind, and becomes Nightwing.
